The guest speaker for Tuesday, Jan. 3 is artist Maria Ruenes whose papier mâché alebrijes are currently on display at Irving Arts Center in Aquí/Ahora (Here/Now), a group exhibition spotlighting six local Latinx artists and IAC Art Connection members. Artwork in a variety of media including painting, drawing, mixed media, assemblage, sculpture and photography is featured in the exhibit.
